Introduction

Zoned content allows you to use pre-determined templates to place different content in different areas of the screen.

Most Digital Branding sales involve a video that takes up the whole wall.

Capabilities

You will be provided with a set of templates for your venue. In 22 Miles, these are called "Dynamic Slides." You will also be supplied with a playlist for each zone and a video for each playlist.

Supplied in your 22 Miles account:

Dynamic Slides (zone templates)
12 playlists, one for each zone
12 videos, one for each zone

You can schedule content in 22 Miles using the pre-prepared playlists. Each zone will have a permanently assigned playlist. You can load one or more media items into each playlist.

You cannot edit a dynamic slide, just the playlists assigned to it.

Limitations

Templates are created using licensed software (22 Miles Publisher Pro), so venues can't create their own templates); they are created by the Digital Signage Solutions team.

Templates cannot be scheduled back to back as the content in the playlists driving the templates must be changed.

Templates (Dynamic Slides)

The Design and Integration team will provide you with zoned templates if your install package specifies this.

In 22 Miles, this template is called a Dynamic Slide and there is a section page for Dynamic Slides. Each area of the dynamic slide will have a playlist created for it. For the four Dynamic Slides shown above, there would be linked 12 playlists.

The venue cannot change the playlist that is linked to a zone, it is programmed into the dynamic slide.

You cannot schedule two dynamic slides of the same layout back to back (e.g. for different events). Remember, on a dynamic slide, the zones are linked to specific playlists, you have to change the content in the playlists.

Playlists

In the example above, your playlists will be named:
