Add Session Field
The image below shows the custom fields integrated into the Wordly platform’s "Add Session" interface. These fields are part of the session object and are designed to capture specific event and venue-related information.
This information is CRITICAL for proper billing and documentation purposes. Be sure to properly fill it out for each session you create.
- Give your session a title for the session list and transcripts
- Enter a name or label for the transcription feed presenter
- Enter the session's start date, time, and duration
- Set the primary spoken language at the session
- Set Auto Select to enabled
- Check all languages used for the event under Selections
- Set the access to be open or need a passcode

Enter your Global Region
- Select the region where the event or venue is located.
- Options: Choose one of the following:
- US
- Canada
- Mexico
- EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
- ANZPAC (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific)
- Options: Choose one of the following:

Enter your Venue Name
- Enter the name of the venue where the event will take place. Ensure consistency and accuracy across all of your events to avoid confusion.
- Example: "Hyatt Regency San Francisco"

Enter your 4 Venue Number
- Enter your unique four-digit venue code
- Example: "1234"

Enter your Opportunity Name
- Enter the Opportunity Name as it appears in Compass.
- Example: "Intel Annual Leadership Conference 2024"

Enter your Opportunity Number (start with OP)
- Enter the Compass Opportunity Number
- Example: "OP12345678"

Enter Yes for Client Events and No for Demos under Billable Chargeable Event
- Enter Yes for Client Events (including rehearsals or "internal" events for your hotel partner)
- Enter No for demos

Enter Captioning Only, Two-Language, Translation for Session Type
- Enter Captioning Only if your providing captions in the same language being spoken (example from English to English).
- Enter Two-Language if you're only translating to one language (example from English to Spanish).
- Enter Translation if translating into more than one language (example from English to Spanish, French, and Italian).
Optional Extras
- Select a voice pack (Voice Pack 1 is a softer feminine voice and Voice Pack 2 is a deeper masculine voice)
- Choose a glossary
- Decide if you want to save the transcript afterward
Additional Notes:
- Double-check all fields for accuracy before submission.
- If you are unsure of a value, please consult your manager or Compass for clarification.
- Use consistent naming conventions and formatting to avoid processing delays.
