Although this article talks about Wordly AI because that is the application we are using, Encore presents this service to our customers as AI Language Services.

Introduction

Wordly AI's web based services include several elements on web pages with similar URL formats. The Portal contains links directly to Join, and Attend, and Help, making the page layout easier to navigate.

Many elements are accessed in similar ways. For example, to view a session in the Join, Attend, and Display pages you'll need to provide the Session ID from the Portal.

Portal

portal.wordly.ai is for Encore venue team members setting up and managing AI Language Services for events.

This is where you'll create your session for the event and edit the glossary you'll use. Wordly AI's "Knowledge Center" contains articles on how to add a session and create a glossary as well as download a complete transcript from the portal after the session concludes.

The portal also contains links to some of the other pages listed below. Each session you create will contain unique links to Join (under "Meeting Shortcuts") and Attend (under "Attendee Shortcuts"). And under "Support" from the left side menu you can find a link to Wordly AI's "Knowledge Center", AKA Help.

Only users who have set up a personal portal account will be able to log in here. If you have not set up a portal account, learn more in this article.

Although the Portal is where you'll find most of the controls, it's not where you start or end a session. Sessions start and end from the Join page.

Join

join.wordly.ai is for audio input into a Wordly AI session, usually by an Encore technician.

It's very important to understand that Join is where you'll start and end a session, which starts/ends Wordly AI's count of minutes to determine the hard cost to your venue.

For more details on starting and ending a session with the Join page, see this article in Wordly AI's "Knowledge Center".

You can open multiple Join pages for the same session on multiple computers (or in some situations even on the same computer). Do this when you want each presenter in your session individually named for participants to see on their devices (Attend page) or on a screen (Display page). See more details in the Audio Guide article under Advanced Audio Setup.

Attend

attend.wordly.ai is for event participants to join Wordly AI sessions on their personal devices.

Participants will see the live transcript here during the session. They can choose another language to begin translating the transcript into the language of their choice.

They can also tap the speaker to begin text-to-speech and listen to the session in the language they've chosen. (Headphones are of course recommended!)

For more details on the Attend page, see this article in Wordly AI's "Knowledge Center".

Display

display.wordly.ai is for displaying the live transcript for an audience as captions.

This site is flexible and can be used in multiple ways. You can provide AI transcription live to your audience fullscreen on its own monitor, projection screen, LED wall, etc. You can also provide the transcription superimposed over other content like PowerPoint slides or IMAG as a lower third or in any size and shape you choose.

For more details on the Display page, see this article in Wordly AI's "Knowledge Center".

Help

help.wordly.ai is Wordly AI's own "Knowledge Center".

You'll find many helpful articles in Wordly AI's own "Knowledge Center" that we've chosen not to duplicate into Encore's Knowledge Center that you're reading right now. Encore's articles are supplemental and tailored to Encore's specific business where some of Wordly AI's may be a little more generic.
