Resetting Login Credentials for Both Portals

When accepting a DET position at a venue location or transferring to a new location, sometimes information gets lost in the transition and information is not passed down.

For instance, login credentials for a venue location that has or once had an active subscription to Encore’s Commercial Background Music solution was not shared with you. This will require you, the new DET, to be made the new point of contact and receive a reset of login credentials for that venue location.

Additionally, you may have been a DET at a venue location that previously has or had a subscription, and now your current venue needs a subscription. This will require you to have your accounts updated to reflect the new subscriptions activated at your current venue.

Another situation would be that you may have forgotten your existing login credentials altogether.

Whatever the circumstances, this article is intended for team members who need assistance with login credentials access that may have been associated with existing accounts for the Commercial Background Music solution in Dynamic Media (DM) Portal and/or Soundtrack Your Brand (SYB) Portal.

This article will pertain to you if:

  • You are a new DET to a venue location and inquiring if the venue location already has an existing subscription(s), and need account login credentials in DM and SYB Portals to manage this
  • You have existing DM Portal and SYB Portal accounts but forgot your login credentials
  • You have existing DM and SYB accounts but need to update your account information to a new venue location subscription because your account is linked to your previous location

If you are a DET and know that your location has never had a subscription to Encore’s Commercial Background Music solution, but would now like a subscription, you may submit a request form and fill out all the necessary information: Commercial Background Music Request Form

Encore’s Commercial Background Music solution requires login credentials for 2 separate platforms that serve its own functions which are:

  • The Dynamic Media Portal
    • This is a custom-built administrative interface that you will use to activate, deactivate, and modify Soundtrack music subscriptions for your location.
    • This portal is used to manage your subscriptions only (does not play the music playlists)
  • The Soundtrack Portal (Soundtrack Your Brand)
    • The Soundtrack portal is the online interface that you will use to select the commercial background music playlists and to pair and unpair (connect and disconnect) your mobile device or Encore Rental Laptop to your active Soundtrack subscriptions.
    • This portal is used in the event to sync to a device and play the music playlists on your sound system

If a venue currently has or once had an active subscription, the DET or main point of contact would have received two emails. One email with the venue location’s login credentials to the Dynamic Media Portal and another separate e-mail invite to create login credentials in the Soundtrack Portal.

Both Dynamic Media and Soundtrack Portals’ login credentials are managed through the Dynamic Media team directly. The Encore Support Center works in collaboration with Dynamic Media to ensure the Dynamic Media team is activating and updating your portals accurately and sending the necessary correspondence e-mails for both portals to your e-mail address.

STEPS

  1. Submit a request and fill out all the necessary information: Commercial Background Music Request Form

  2. Use the description box to describe with as much detail and information as possible what your situation is and needs are.

Examples:

  • If you already have existing DM Portal/Soundtrack Portal accounts because you managed Commercial Background Music subscriptions at a previous location, but need to activate a subscription to your new venue location, please indicate this in the description box that you once had existing accounts, you are now the DET at your current venue location, need to activate a subscription and need access in the portal accounts to your current venue location
  • If you are a new DET of your venue location and do not know if your new venue location has a subscription in place and are in need of a subscription, indicate through the form options how many subscriptions you would like for your venue location. Then write in the description box that you are a new DET and not sure if your current venue location has existing subscriptions. If there are no existing subscriptions, then will need login credentials to your new venue and are requesting to activate subscriptions, indicated by the quantity and duration you have filled out in the form


If you simply forgot your login credentials to either your existing Dynamic Media (DM) Portal and/or Soundtrack Your Brand (SYB) Portal, you may utilize the Forgot Password? feature on each of the Portals’ login page. Please check your SPAM/Junk Folders as well as your Mimecast Portal if any potential emails were quarantined to these locations. If you still do not see an e-mail to reset your password to either portal, you may contact Dynamic Media at encore@dm-us.com and let them know if you have not received an email to reset your password.
