Overview

One of Encore's competitive advantages is the personalized service of our skilled technicians. It's our "secret sauce" that keeps our customers coming back for more. So shouldn't we use that "secret sauce" to spice up our own lunch (internal meetings) too?

For example, if a client hosted an event in the ballroom of an Encore hotel for 1,000 participants and we sold them a sound system with 10 microphones, we would also sell an in-room audio tech to cover the mixer. A technician operating our technology during an in-person event is vital for turning meetings into "Events that Transform". And if our expert advice to these customers about the value of an operator is actually good advice - not just a money grab, but a real path to success - then doesn't the same truth apply to our internal virtual meetings?

Operator

Although we live in an increasingly digital world, there's still no substitute for an experienced human making quick decisions in response to an ever-evolving situation. Unexpected things happen in meetings every day and it's the trained reactions of Encore technicians operating a meeting that can help your participants maintain focus on the topic rather than succumbing to distractions. Further, managing a large meeting comes with more demands and responsibilities than a small group discussion. Passing off the in-meeting technical duties to a Support Center operator will free up the organizer to focus on the content presented and fully engage with the participants.

In your meeting a Support Center operator can:

  • Consult on settings before the event begins to ensure you're set up for success
  • Manage a Green Room to check presenters' audio, video, and screensharing before the meeting starts
  • Start the meeting from the Green Room
  • Play Encore Music as the meeting opens to set a vibrant mood
  • Admit participants who join without signing into Teams, such as external presenters
  • Mute participants if they begin making disruptive noise
  • Turn off the camera of a participant who starts doing something distracting
  • Spotlight presenters as they speak so they are prominently featured during their segment
  • Help manage spoken Q&A by enabling mics for attendees who use the Raise Hand feature
  • Help manage Q&A in chat by adding a checkmark emoji to questions that have been answered
